Northern California Sectional Workouts

Northern California Sectionals leading up to the CrossFit games are next weekend. Come cheer on Kyle Adams from CrossFit Pleasanton as he competes for only one of 20 spots for male contestants. There are more than 400 athletes competing.

If Kyle places top 20 here he will move onto the SouthWest Regionals where only 4 men will be chosen to compete at the games.

Today, we ran the two workouts back to back for the rest of us mortals here at the gym.

Workout A
Against a 6-minute running clock:
Run 800m
Max rep overhead squats (115/75lbs)

Scored by total number of overhead squats.

Rest 4 minutes, then:

Workout B
Max rounds plus reps in 10 minutes of:
7 Thrusters (115/75lbs)
12 Kettlebell Swings (53/35lbs)
7 Pull-ups
