Improving your fitness is a slow process. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses when they show up at our doors. Some students struggle with mobility, others with stability, others yet come to us two months after having knee surgery and need to be tended with care. And on the other end of the spectrum, some athletes arrive at our door well-conditioned with an extensive athletic background.
We are not just a group exercise class or a boot camp facility. If you are going the CrossFit route prior to graduating to group classes, you will complete four or six one-on-one private coaching classes (the exact number depends on your personal level of fitness and physical abilities) For more info click here.
Crossfit is not for everyone that is why we offer 5 other fitness programs besides CrossFit that will help anyone reach their specific fitness goals. These programs do not require any introduction or one on one coaching. You can meet with a coach and jump right into those classes. The movements are not as technical, but still very affective. The programs that we provide are Bootcamp, Trident Endurance, Power lifting, Kor/Bodybuilding, and Strength. We all have different needs when we start a new strength and conditioning program. We are here to accommodate them all.
Here at CFP we are about making your life better. We offer our members the best coaching, facility, and programming in the area. We also have access to equipment that very few gyms have. Combine that with the best physical therapist, Chiropractic and ART specialist and you have a wellness center that is designed to meet all your fitness and wellness needs.
CFP is a 13,000 square foot facility with all the functional fitness equipment any professional athlete would need. This large space is a MUST! People cannot feel cramped or crowded during workouts. It is unsafe and disrespectful to athletes to have to be cramped while doing workouts.
Equipment is an important part of reaching your fitness goals. Doing the same 4 to 5 movements over and over week after week will not get you to your optimal fitness level. You must push the margins of your experience on a weekly basis. Our equipment is the best in the industry. CFP has indoor turf, Rogue Monster Rigs, Concept 2 rowers, ski-erg, gymnastic rings, Olympic Lifting platforms and so much more for your ultimate functional fitness workout. We also carry lots of gear and equipment for you to purchase. We are constantly striving to be the best facility around and are always looking to make improvements and add equipment for our member.
We have two showers, with towel service so you can have a great work out and still be ready for work or any other daily activities. We provide food from Territory Foods, and Out of The Cave Paleo Meals for our members to purchase.
Giving our members the best in every category is the goal of the owner, coaches, and our community. This is another reason why CFP is leading the way.
CROSSFIT GROUP CLASS
But more than this, our morning coaches do not coach in the evenings, and our evening coaches do not coach in the mornings. This means that you will not be coached by a tired, burnt out coach at 8pm. Our coaches work a manageable 20 to 30 hours a week, so they have plenty of energy to give to each student and each class.
COACH FOR LIFE
When you become a member, you will have access to our coaches every day. This will help you improve technique, confidence and proficiency of movement. Also, as a member you will receive a free 30 PT every month to work on anything you would like. This could be meal prep discussion, rope climb help, Oly lifting technique, a special strength program for pull ups, or how to get ready for your first marathon, anything you would like. The design of the our workout or (WOD) program is the MOST important difference between CrossFit boxes. CrossFit works, fast. But, more CrossFit does not equal better CrossFit. Excessive repetitive movements, improper scaling, or complex exercises under fatigue can leave people sore and possibly injured.
CFP has been programming & tracking CrossFit workouts for clients since 2005. We have collected tens of thousands of results from members. Those results, along with ongoing client & coach feedback has helped us create incredibly effective workout programming for ALL of our clients, including our beginning members, our masters, our teens and top athletes.
All of CFP’s coaches collaborate together to create the daily workouts for our members, our daily programming includes strength training which helps build a solid foundation for conditioning workouts (and daily demands of life!). We also include accessory and flexibility exercises to improve our members’ mobility and athletic skills. Finally, every session ends with intense and fun conditioning workouts as well as a lot of the Crossfit benchmark workouts that build stamina and endurance but also allow you to chart your progress. We have partnered with Beyond the White Board which allows all CFP members to have a free account. This system allows you to easily see your progress, check weight gains and losses, track meals, and so much more.
